Register Here, fill this and upload your idea proposal before 8:00 PM, Thursday, 29 September 2022. We highly encourage participants to come offline because not only you will have the chance to learn from other projects, but also we will have special fun events and mentoring for students who join us offline.Participants can either come to campus and work on their projects here or they can develop their projects from their homes. This will be a completely hybrid weekend hackathon. It doesn't matter if you are not able to complete the project, but you will learn a lot from working on your project, and at the same time, you can also have a look at what exciting stuff other teams are working on.They will give you resources and tutorials to refer to. They will guide you on how you can implement the project. We will have mentors to help you throughout the time of the hackathon. It does not matter if you don't know how to build an app. This Hackathon is also for Complete Beginners Your team will have to submit their idea proposal and shortlisted ideas will be selected for the hackathon. A crazy innovative idea is the primary motivation for a successful project. For example, it can be a blockchain-based pokemon go like game which will encourage sustainability in our college premises, an app that will make our canteen go paperless by placing orders on a mobile app and scanning the QR code, and much more.Firstly your team will have to come up with an idea that solves some of the world's greatest problems starting with our local community (which is our college, city, etc.).This mega-project will then be published as an open-source project which will be managed by our GitHub Campus Club.We will access the teams based on the contributions they have made to the mega-project as a whole and we will award them based on that. That is where the dependency on GitHub comes into play. You may have a question, how will we evaluate the performance of the teams and select the winner among them.A team can either take up the responsibility to complete a particular module or work on multiple modules by helping other teams. We will create an organization for this mega-project idea and create individual modules on which the teams will work on.We will then combine these ideas to form a mega-project idea. First, we will have an ideation round where the participants have to submit idea proposals to solve some of the problems they face every day.We wanted to create something unique which will not only spark the interest in students, but also solve some of the world’s greatest problems starting from our local community. This is not just another simple Hackathon.
